A waterproofed cylinder container of the same color is set inside for flower-arrangement purposes. Comes in a gift box with a seal with the words "Bamboo Wire Work".   Born in 1937 and lives in Shizuoka. In 1957, he began to study under the bamboo craft master, the late Ozawa Yoshimasa, and then became an independent artist. Since then, he has continued to create and preserve the techniques of the Suruga Senkin craft that originated around 1620. In 1976, he received the Mayor's Award at the Shizuoka City Arts and Crafts Exhibition, and since has received countless awards such as the Governor's Award. He now works as the preserver of the techniques of the "Traditional Craft Designated by the Minister of Economy and Trade".
