FAQ
The products can be used as wineglasses, as maki-e lacquer bowls can be used for serving food.
Please avoid scrubbing the products with hard items. When washing, please do not use a steel sponge or abrasive detergent.
Except for some products in “The Motifs of Japan” lineup, all products are produced only after orders are placed.
All wineglasses used are imported by Riedel.
We do not provide a service to provide maki-e decoration on customers’ existing glasses.
Maki-e is a handcraft. Therefore, the exact details of each motif can differ slightly to those seen on samples or in catalogues.
Our products are hand-made and require a certain period to produce. At peak times this can result in a delay in delivery for which we apologize in advance.
We do not accept orders necessitating delivery on a fixed date as we prioritize the quality of maki-e above all else.
We do not accept orders for just a part of smaller than usual glasses, or for complicated family emblems or logos.
We accept neither return of goods nor offer exchange except for items damaged during transportation.
Other product operational guidelines follow the policy of Riedel.
