The blades are unsharpened, and are actually used in Ken-do and Iai-do. The artificial blades are made of zinc alloy, guaranteeing the sword safety and allowing them to be easily shipped overseas. The make of the mountings are based on real swords and carefully examined by Fuji-Torii, which is licensed as an authentic art dealer. The hilts of the swords are wound with glossy silk thread, while the scabbards are made with magnolia and finished with lacquer. Each metal piece is also done in a very intricate manner, so the swords look quite genuine.

Free accessories Every item includes a wooden sword stand. The stand allows the sword to be displayed either with or without the scabbard. One side of the stand has two sets of holders for displaying the sword and the scabbard. By turning the stand around, you can display the sword in its scabbard.
